Brian Oeder, CEO, Vendor Managed Gas™. With more than 25 years in instrumentation and controls, Brian brings sales, marketing, financial, operational, and strategic experience to VMG. Brian has extensive business experience in over 30 countries across 6 continents and has served a wide variety of clients in industries such as petrochemical, oil and gas, mining, construction, and automotive. His diverse background includes management of marketing and sales teams, service, internal support, and training.
Brian holds degrees in International Business and Marketing from The Ohio State University, and a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University. He resides in Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife and three children.
Ashley Wright Werthaiser, CEO, Wright Brothers Global Gas, LLC, VMG parent company. Ashley grew up working at Wright Brothers, and she entered the business full-time in 2003. Since that time, she has been Director of Marketing, customer service and accounting support, and Site Owner for one of Wright Brothers largest accounts. For succession planning, in 2010 she became majority owner of Wright Brothers Global Gas, a NWBOC certified women owned enterprise. Ashley is focused on the strategic growth of the business and the day-to-day operations. She remains dedicated to building the business with the same passion her father, her uncle, and her grandfather had over seventy years ago.
Prior to her career at Wright Brothers, she earned a B.S. in Biology from Centre College and enjoyed a short teaching career. She resides in Cincinnati with her husband and three sons and is very active in their school parent organizations.
Charlie Wright, Chairman of the Board, Wright Brothers, Inc. has spent over forty years servicing the bio-science, research and industrial gas industries. He is an active member and leader in the IWDC – serving as past Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Industrial Gas Committee. Under Charlie’s leadership, Wright Brothers was selected as the 2007 “Small Business of the Year” by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber and 2012 Business of the Year from the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce
Prior to Wright Brothers, Charlie worked as an Engineer and Plant Manager for General Mills and earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from the University of Cincinnati Evening College and a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University.
Charlie enjoys spending time sailing and giving back to the community. He is active as a board member of Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries, a member of Ohio History Connections World Heritage Ohio Steering Committee and founder of the Team VMG Programs.
Chief Operations Officer & Business Development, VMG. Angie will further ensure excellent service to all VMG customers and help develop and enhance the VMG product in the field. Angie has over 20 years’ experience in the gas industry and has worked extensively with global companies and the end user. She has extensive background in specialty gas, life science & healthcare, as well as electronics/semiconductors.
Angie is coming to VMG after relocating to her hometown of Cincinnati from California where she
resided for over 25 years. Angie explains, “I have sold VMG to end user. customers in my former roles and I am excited to fully engage with the sales and marketing of such an innovative product.”
Cyndi Blalock, Chief Development Officer, Wright Brothers Global Gas, LLC, VMG parent company. Cyndi has been with Wright Brothers Global Gas, LLC over 14 years serving in various roles within the company. Creating relationships based on trust and respect with distributors and customers, she helped grow our footprint throughout North America. Cyndi’s role transitioned to COO in 2008, primarily focused on the daily operations supporting both our clients, our VMG™ product line, and our distributor network. In 2019, Cyndi accepted the role as CDO with a passion to take Wright Brothers Global Gas, LLC to the next level.
Cyndi resides in Cincinnati with Bill, her husband of over 30 years. Cyndi is passionate about people, family, gardening, and sports.
Mikey Ahrens, Product Engineer, VMG. Mikey started at Wright Brothers Inc. in 2011 working in customer support/project management and then as the laboratory manager. After spending several years learning the industry, he took the technical lead position for the Vendor Managed Gas Team.
On the VMG Team, Mikey is responsible for creating and sourcing new equipment, implementing ideas and functionality to the dashboard, and working with the web development team to marry the physical technology to the web interface. He also is responsible for technical support and web demonstrations.
Prior to joining the Wright Brothers organization, Mikey graduated from Wilmington College with a degree in chemistry in 2008. He resides in Batavia, Ohio with his girlfriend and a garage full of motorized toys.
Nick Capurro, Technical Lead, VMG. Nick provides customer focused support for VMG software and hardware. He is available to help customers start up new equipment, troubleshoot, and navigate new solutions. He brings a vast amount of technical and mechanical knowledge to Vendor Managed Gas™.
Nick’s background includes the automotive, machine, and clock industries. He was educated at Great Oaks Institute of Technology and is a graduate the Ford ASSET program. Additionally, he has been an instructor in classroom and lab settings for this program.
A native of Cincinnati, Nick spends his spare time fishing in the summer and hunting in the winter. He has always had a passion for cars and has been restoring old cars with his family and watches them race at the local tracks. He also enjoys camping and spending his time outdoors with his wife Vickie and daughter Alexis.
